Peter Hankins (Consultant)
Peter Hankins qualified as a Solicitor in 1971 after training with Bevan Ashford of Bristol. In 1976 Peter became a Partner of the practice and became Managing Partner in the year 2000. Peter retired from partnership in 2007 but continues to assist the Accident and Disease Claims department.
Peter has a wide knowledge of general practice having taken an interest in most areas of law. However in recent years he has become a specialist in the law of Personal Injury and Industrial Disease having qualified as a Fellow of the College of Personal Injury Lawyers. In addition, Peter is a specialist in the Law of Commons having for many years been the legal adviser to the local National Trust with particular reference to their properties at Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons.
Outside the office Peter enjoys various musical activities including playing the violin in the local Symphony Orchestra and singing in the Wycliffe Choral Society. He also enjoys the occasional game of golf. He is married with 2 grown up children.
